LANCE PEKUS

Cowboy NINJA

ABOUT LANCE
Athlete. Activist. Author. Ninja.
You probably know Lance Pekus from NBC's hit show, American Ninja Warrior. He's an athletic, hard-working family man who enjoys creating videos, content, and even writing books!
Lance made his Ninja Warrior debut in Season 4 and has also competed on Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge season 1 and 2 as well as competing on Team Ninja Warrior Season 1 through 3.

Salmon, Idaho
No place like home.
The Pekus family lives in the small town of Salmon, Idaho, which they love. Lance works seasonally for the Forest Service and the rest of the year on his Father-In-Law's ranch. On top of that, he frequently is an inspirational guest speaker.
Ranch life has made Lance into the man he's become. It’s hard work, but it's rewarding. And, best of all, it doesn’t take that much of an imagination to find places or objects to train on.

Family First
Family is everything to Lance. He loves being a husband and father and being able to share experiences with my kids while teaching them about life and the ranch.
His amazing wife, Heather, has been his biggest inspiration. It was a hard decision, but in Season 9 of American Ninja Warrior, the Pekus family decided to disclose to the world her struggles with MS.
Heather is the best mother and wife and the hardest working counselor at the Salmon High School despite her medical struggles.
